How To Install ALP:
- Choose the ALP you want to install - there's no huge feature difference, if your version of Ableton is the same or higher than the ALP, it'll work for you!
- It'll ask you where you want to install, choose a place on your computer
- Find the folder it installed, and open up the ".als" - boom!
(if your loading screen looks stuck when installing, there's a chance this isn't true! As long as the project folder is on your computer with the samples folder and .als, you're good to go!)
Software/Hardware Requirements:
- Buffer size 128 or lower for best experience
- Ableton Live 11 Suite - Tested and Works!
- Ableton Live 10 Suite - Tested and Works!
- Push 2 - works great!
- Push 3 - I haven't used it yet but a friend of mine got it working and it was solid!
- Ableton Live 9 Suite - not tested/built yet, but you can for free! (details below)
Looking to use the Beatbox for free?
Check back here in a few days for a tutorial on how to BUILD the Beatbox step-by-step for free! Even if you've already supported, it'll be a great way to learn about how it works - knowing how to make your own devices is a big advantage, and hopefully this helps you get started if you haven't already!
Downloading gives you access to Live 10 and 11 versions, a default template and some starter samples! Sounds good to me.
